A luxurious, romantic getaway directly on the river with upscale amenities. The perfect couples retreat for a honeymoon, anniversary, or special spot to return year after year.

We now offer an optional meal plan! Place your meal order 2 weeks prior to your stay, and ready made meals provided by Tasteful Gatherings will be ready for your arrival!
Take a break from your hectic life, and find rest, relaxation, and reconnection with your partner because there are no kids allowed here! Each cabin is designed for 2 adult guests only.
Cuddle in the comfy king bed all day with views of the river, soak in the hot tub, enjoy an outdoor shower for two (seasonal), take in the stars at your private fire pit, or be adventurous with the provided kayaks and paddle board.
Competitive? Make a wager on a game of horseshoes or cornhole. The loft is filled with surprises, books, games, and fun activities. Don't forget to leave your provided Lock of Love on our fence.
Want to add an extra special touch? Inquire about adding on a soak in our Riverview Treetop Soaking Top(seasonal) or renew your vows in the chapel (Coming Spring 2023).
Surrounded by nature yet only 4 miles from I-75. Centrally located to Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Atlanta with many nearby activities. Dock with direct river access from April to November. Bring your boat or jet ski and put in at the ramp 1/2 mile from our property.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
About the Owner
We are like so many who built lives for themselves, that didn’t work out like they planned. BUT, we have been so fortunate, that even though we didn’t deserve God’s grace, He extended it to us anyway, and we found each other. We found storybook, fairytale love, but we still work hard at it! We have learned to set aside as much time as possible together to go on dates, find adventures, and enjoy new experiences! It has made all the difference in our marriage. With our big blended family and the stress of life, we realized adult only getaways have been a game changer for us. Our dream over the past few years, through social media was to share our ideas, fun finds, and unique adventures through TCB Adventures on FB and IG. We have had so much fun sharing, and have gotten so many personal requests for trip ideas. I LOVE helping others plan adventures, and we will continue to share! Our ultimate desire has been to one day create a space to bring together our amazing experiences into a place where couples can affordably getaway, reconnect, rest, plan surprises, enjoy nature, and rekindle romance! We also get to combine our strengths and interests of interior design, building, and adventure into a business we can grow together. 💛🖤 This is the goal of Hiwassee River Retreat!
